We run a variety of activities under the name Rochford Community Projects. These aim to be of interest and benefit to the wider community.
Our current regular projects are outlined below.
All of these take place at St Marks Hall (find on map
).
We also run occasional family events at various locations.
Our new shop, Number One, will be opening soon.

Each week in St Marks Hall we run an art afternoon. This is an opportunity for those who would like to paint in the company of others and for those who would like to develop their artistic gifts. You will receive encouragement, guidance – and a cup of tea!
Please check if there is space available in this extremely popular group.
This group teaches parents how to massage their babies. Baby massage has a range of benefits for both parent and baby:
Each Friday morning in term-time, we run Tea n Toast, an opportunity to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, a snack and some friendly company.
Give yourself a break!
Drop in for a relaxing morning from 9.15 until 11.30.
One Saturday each month there is an opportunity for a late breakfast – or an early lunch. The menu varies from week to week but is likely to include favourites such as bacon, sausage and egg. There are vegetarian options and prices are family-friendly.
We are open from 10.30 until 12.30 with last orders at midday.
Saturday Brunch is normally on the third Saturday of each month.
However, dates and times may vary so please check News & Events
on our home page, just to be sure
From time to time we run a variety of one-off activities aimed at the whole family. These have included day trips, film afternoons, fun days, meals and quiz evenings. Watch out for details of future events.
