Community Involvement

At our core is a desire to at the heart of the community in which we live. Over the years we have sought to do this in many ways and right now we have projects that are run to meet some the needs that we have encountered. These activities are in no way designed to con or trick people into church, but are there to provide space  to meet and encounter other like minded people.

RCC has a mission statement:

To create a growing community of God’s people that is loving, accepting and caring and which is able to minister God’s love, reconciliation and healing with a servant heart, in faith, both within it and to the world outside.

It may seem odd or even formal that as a group of individuals we have a mission statement. However, we believe that we should come together with one goal to be part of our community, serve our community and impact the community that we are part of.  We live here, and some of us work here, and our concern is for Rochford. Where we have the opportunity, we want to serve this community.
